Artfight Page Information
Personality:
Kikari is friendly, kind and forgiving to a fault, trying to help everyone around him even if they don't deserve it. He easily overburdens himself and will help others to the point that his own health suffers, putting off recovering if he has things to do and downplaying his fatigue. This is because he has an inferiority complex, believing that it's better if he suffers instead of someone else. He says it's because he's a robot and thus can be repaired, but he acts this way even to other androids! Due to this low self-esteem he's actually a bit of a melancholic person, though he tries not to show it.
As a side note, Kikari seems to have a lot of fears - he's uneasy and jumpy around lightning and storms, he's claustrophobic, he easily gets separation anxiety... He is also rather bad at lying and gives himself away easily, fumbling his words and avoiding eye contact.
Lore:
Kikari was originally built by a man named Alec to help with his handyman work. But after only a couple of years, a terrible incident claimed Alec's life and Kikari, for a few months, went missing. When he finally returned the young android felt completely lost and alone, not knowing what to do, so he just... resumed doing handyman things. He couldn't think of anything else, so he operated on autopilot and "I'll figure it out later"s until he one day came across the lost Speedline.
He tried to help Speedline get back home, but instead ended up with a permanent roommate - and Speedline soon brought in Devic and Gin, making Kikari's life far less aimless (and far more chaotic).
Physical traits:
He's surprisingly tall (6'3) and rather light, allowing him to fly but making him a bit weak for an android.
Surprisingly, he is capable of fighting and carries two wide energy blades (stashed by the base of his wings), but he dislikes hurting others and would prefer to use the blades for blocking or scaring his opponent.
Due to his model he can't eat human food, so he instead eats a kind of glowy pellet substitute for robots. E-Tanks and other bot-specific foods are also acceptable. (He prefers candy-like ones, which taste nicer but give less energy. He's a little embarrassed about this.)
Despite being robotic, the fuel he bleeds is red, likely to make him feel more human.
Though he usually wears his helmet, it is removable.
Other notes:
He has poor navigation skills. Apparently, during his absence, the component that handled navigation was damaged... though he's been sorta saving for a replacement, he always puts it off in favor of helping others.
He still carries some dark secrets regarding both his father's death and the time period he was missing, but he pretends this isn't the case and seems hurt if pushed on the matter. He feels fondly about his father though, and doesn't mind talking about what he was like.
While Kikari's 6'3, the creatures living with him (see third image) are 4'3 at most. Kikari can and will carry them like children.
He's popular with animals and seems to have a penchant for attracting strange people of all kinds, likely due to his kind and inviting attitude, though he doesn't realize this is the reason. Despite loving animals and helping any creatures in need he finds, and despite getting lonely easily, he's hesitant to keep any pets.
Due to his inferiority complex, Kikari tends to call himself a robot instead of an android, despite referring to others as androids.
His birthday is on October 3rd!
