Artfight Page Information
A major character/antagonist in my game concept "Dreamy's Castle", Dreamy is - as the title implies - the owner of a strange, colorful castle that appears to children lost in the wild. He can control many things in the castle, but the trade-off is that he cannot leave it.
As it's rare for children to find or enter the castle and nearly nobody but Dreamy inhabits it, Dreamy is quite lonely and wants friends... So whenever a visitor appears, he's beyond himself with delight! He's very chipper and friendly, trying to keep his visitors happy and entertained in the area he can easiest watch over, but his newest visitor soon goes exploring ... and, losing track of them in the vastness of the castle, Dreamy gets more and more worried and upset - trying to get a hold of them via increasingly desperate and even dangerous means.
While there is more to him and the castle, it's a secret! I don't wanna spoil too much, after all!
Physical notes:
The yellow strings on his bow are actually his hoodie strings. Why? Uh...
None of his clothes can be removed! He's always in that parka-pajamas. He can't even pull his hood down!
The "whisker" lines on his cheeks aren't a style thing, they're actually there!
Other notes:
Dreamy can create sheep out of fluffy clouds! When he can't find The Visitor, these are what he uses to try and track them down, as he can see through their eyes. While normally white, they do reflect his mood; if he's sad they're gray rain clouds, while if he's angry or wound up they're black storm clouds. When not using them for recon, he can sleep on them or use them as make-shift company.
Some images contain plush lions; they're other inhabitants of the castle, Silk and Dusty! These two are the reason for The Visitor's wandering. They greatly dislike Dreamy and always avoid him if possible, and if a visitor asks, Dreamy denies their existence... Still, he would like to meet them face to face. When drawing them together, I tend to assign Silk to Dreamy and Dusty to The Visitor.
The castle is very colorful and childish on both the inside and outside! I haven't designed it, so you can take creative liberties if you want. They might even become canon!
