Personality:
Zev is as intimidating as his stature suggests. He has a dark, rumbling voice and often comes off as hostile, even when he doesn't mean to. He's strict and unforgiving, with a very threatening air and hostile demeanor when he gets angry, as if ready to tear apart the target of his frustration. Despite this he cares about those he helps, his frustration often stemming from trying to keep them safe.
Lore:
Zev is the leader of a rag-tag group of corrupted bots, stationed in an abandoned building in the bad parts of town. His group actively seeks out and shelters those who are newly-infected or lost and alone, no matter if they're useful or not, to ensure they don't get picked off by crime fighters.
He was originally commissioned by the Guardians, built for fighting and killing, but also proved to be an effective leader and had a role as commander. Caring too much about his subordinates' safety, Zev would often take on missions alone, which led to his downfall; while trying to take down a Virus Carrier named Presta, he was infected himself. In a mental haze he followed Presta's suggestions and called in his subordinates, then slaughtered them - the haze cleared in the aftermath, when he found that Presta was killing off any survivors, and he stopped her with the idea that they form their own gang and keep the surviving subordinates as minions; thus forming the gang he now leads.
Other notes:
Zev serves as a major antagonist in a story called TCO: Downward Spiral.
Zev has a bit of a puppy crush on Presta. He knows she doesn't feel the same, though, so he's never mentioned it.
He's very tall, so he usually stands hunched over to avoid being too intimidating. (It doesn't help.)
He has a sibling model named Rufus Red, who's a Guardian in another region. Rufus has the same issues with intimidation, and often looks for updates on Zev.
