Personality:
Sonci (pronounced son-chi or son-tzi) is a sad and wary person, not knowing who might hurt him or why, which has given him a bit of a fear of crowds. He's very cautious about trusting others, taking some time to open up, but yearns to feel safe and will cling to even small tokens of affection. He will fight and kill to defend himself if needed, but he doesn't want to cause bloodshed and would rather run if given the chance.

There's a second AI in Sonci's head who goes by Virus. Although more confident, Virus is also more heartless and perfectly fine with violence/murder. Sonci's not really aware of Virus's presence until a fair amount into the story, but Virus tries to guide him through whispers and statements phrased as Sonci's own thoughts, suggesting actions or cautioning against trusting certain people. Once Sonci becomes aware of him the two speak more normally, but Sonci can sometimes forget nobody else can hear Virus and thus answer him out loud, especially if they start to argue.

Lore:
Sonci's first memory is of snapping awake mid-battle, reeling from a slash to the chest. Though he managed to win the battle he was lost and injured, and when trying to get help found out that he was a wanted criminal. Exhausted and paranoid, he was eventually found on the streets and (forcibly) taken in by the wolfloid Zev, who sheltered corrupted and criminal androids. While there, he was able to recover and learn about the world and his crimes.

However Sonci still didn't know anything about who he was, and began to research who his creator might be. This led to him being suspected of leaking information - and when Sonci was pushed to attack civilians to prove his loyalty he instead opted to protect them, which caused him to accidentally kill one of his allies. Now "confirmed" as a traitor, Sonci fled and found himself in the unique position of being an enemy to both sides of the war, leaving him with few options aside from trying to find a creator he still knew nothing about.

Physical notes:
Virus looks the same as Sonci, but with no cloak or scars and having bright red eyes. If you want to depict him without drawing a whole extra bot though, he can be depicted as a little shoulder demon or ghost-like wisp, or by having Sonci's shadow come to life. Anything you can think of would work! Just remember that he's in Sonci's head, so nobody else would react to him.
While corrupted bots commonly have bright red eyes, Sonci's eyes are dark red, leaving others uncertain if he's infected or not. Virus has bright red eyes, however.
Sonci carries two weapons; A green energy blade, and a vaguely purple energy dagger. He had the dagger when he woke up, and received the blade later on.
Sonci isn't comfortable with people seeing his scars or the mark on his chest after how people initially reacted to them, so he's always hiding in his cloak and grows fretful if he can't do so. He only leaves it open if he's alone or with someone he trusts.
He's usually wearing gloves! At first they were concealing an injury, but Sonci noticed that they kept his hands from feeling stained by guilt, so he keeps them on for mental health reasons. He does take them off if there's something he wants to touch and feel properly, for example petting an animal.

Other notes:
Sonci is the protagonist of a story called "The Corrupted Ones: Downward Spiral". As the story progresses he is made to fight/kill more of his old allies, so he gets progressively more paranoid and desperate with time.
The story Sonci is part of takes place during fall/winter, so feel free to draw him in these seasons!
He doesn't like the taste of chocolate, due to an incident in the story. Other treats are fine though.
Most animals don't like him! While Sonci likes animals, he smells unsafe which makes them wary and defensive... Though some animals are just too naive or curious to know they should stay away, so he gets to cuddle them at least sometimes.
The scars across Sonci's chest are from his first fight, claw marks from the wolfloid he was fighting; that specific injury is what caused him to "wake up". Before then Virus was the one in control, and though he won't talk about why, it seems he killed people during that time...
He wasn't wearing his cloak when he first 'woke up', but picked it up at some point before meeting Zev. Similarly, he acquired his gloves during his stay at Zev's.
